Therapy for Women in Midlife, Teens and Young Adults in Hollywood, Florida

In-person in Hollywood and online throughout Florida

Every stage of womanhood invites a deeper understanding of who you are.

Therapy for women in midlife rediscovering themselves and teen girls becoming more confident in who they are.

A Place to Come Home to Yourself

You feel disconnected from yourself, wondering why you’re never enough and you don't feel like yourself anymore. You're exhausted from always taking care of everyone else, wondering why you feel anxious, or stuck in the same patterns. Or maybe the person you're most worried about is your teenage daughter, and you're watching her struggle with anxiety, friendships, confidence, or overwhelming emotions, unsure how to help.

Therapy is a place to slow down. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your daughter, we'll gently explore the experiences and relationship patterns that have shaped the present, not to stay stuck in the past, but to better understand what is happening beneath the surface. As insight grows, so does the ability to feel more grounded, navigate relationships with greater confidence, and reconnect with the person you truly are.

→You’re trying everything to help her but nothing seems to reach her

MEET TAMAR, LMHC

THERAPIST FOR WOMEN AND TEEN GIRLS IN HOLLYWOOD, FL

A woman with long wavy red hair, smiling, wearing a black top and a delicate necklace, in a warmly lit indoor setting.

I help women and teen girls better understand themselves so they can navigate life's transitions and challenges with greater confidence, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of who they are.

Many of the women I work with have spent years taking care of everyone else while quietly losing touch with themselves. Others come because they're watching their teenage daughter struggle and want to help her find her footing before those struggles become lifelong patterns.

I believe therapy isn't about becoming someone new. It's about becoming more fully yourself.

Over time, many clients find they feel more grounded, more confident in themselves, and more connected to who they are. They begin to understand why certain patterns keep repeating, relate to others in healthier ways, and make choices that feel more authentic. My goal isn't simply to help you feel better for the moment, but to help you create meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.

What continues to draw me to this work is witnessing what happens when people have the space to put words to experiences they've carried alone for years. I've seen how greater self-understanding can loosen the grip of old patterns, deepen relationships, and create meaningful change that continues long after therapy ends.

My hope is that you leave therapy feeling not like someone new, but more fully yourself.

Why Insight-Oriented Therapy in Hollywood, Fl?

When Understanding the Problem Hasn’t Been Enough

You may already recognize some of the patterns in your life, the relationships that leave you feeling unseen, the emotions you struggle to express, or the ways you continue putting yourself aside. Yet understanding a pattern does not always make it easier to change.

My approach is insight-oriented and grounded in the belief that therapy should make room for the full context of who you are, your relationships, family experiences, values, and the roles you have carried throughout your life. If you have learned to hold a great deal quietly, therapy offers a space where no part of your experience needs to be set aside.

Together, we explore how earlier relationships and experiences continue to shape your emotional world, your connections with others, and the choices you make today. The relationship we build also becomes an important part of the work, a consistent, emotionally safe place to notice patterns as they unfold and experience new ways of relating.

As these patterns become clearer, you can begin responding with greater freedom, making choices that feel more authentic, and creating change that lasts beyond the therapy room.
